Are you ready for a more joyful 2014? Are you ready to experience real changes in your life that are long overdue? Rather than making New Year’s resolutions that never seem to last more than a month, take some time out today before midnight strikes to review the past year and set a few goals that will help you experience a more joyful and gratifying 2014. The process should not take more than about a half hour and will get you on the right path to achieving your heart’s desires in 2014.

It’s important to set your goals now, in these last few moments of 2013, especially since we have a New Moon this New Years Eve. I’ve read that new moons are a great time to set new goals and projects in motion. What are your goals, buy ultram online cheap, projects and intentions for 2014? What do you want to transform into reality?

However, rather than focusing on what needs fixing (that’s what most resolutions focus on), focus on articulating clear and specific goals for the future. For example, you might want to stop trying to live your life based on other people’s wants, expectations or what “society” or the media have projected is best for you. You may have ignored your inner voice, your inner calling for way too long and you feel stifled, unfulfilled and exhausted. What is it that your soul is calling you to be, do, or experience? What changes is your inner voice guiding you to make? Write these down as clearly and as specifically as possible.

The following is a powerful process that’s empowering for you to do today (or on New Year’s Day):

First, find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted for a half hour or an hour or so. Sit still with yourself and focus on the area of your heart. Do what you need in order to feel comfortable and calm.

You might want to get into a deep meditative state by imaging that you are slowly walking down a spiral staircase and as you count each slow step down the staircase, 10, 9, 8, you are going deeper and deeper 7, 6, 5, into your authentic self, 4, 3, 2, 1, until you reach the bottom step where you’re clear and centered in your heart.

Second, ask your higher self (your soul, your inner voice, your authentic self) to be with you in this process and to inspire you in planning out your goals for the new year. What comes up for you when you look from this place? What goals and intentions make themselves known? Ask your higher self to help you with this process and to give you guidance that will be clear for you, guidance that you cannot easily misinterpret.

Third, open a small, new notebook that you’ve designated for this purpose or take out a few sheets of paper. Begin creating your goals and intentions list for 2014. Try to come up with at least 7 and up to 10 specific goals and intentions. Remain open and connected to your heart/soul as you write these down.

Fourth, read each one of your goals out loud. What comes up for you when you speak them out loud? Do you see any with more clarity? Do any specific words or pictures come up for you? Write any new insights down next to the appropriate goal. Read your goals out loud on New Year’s Eve and also on New Year’s Day.

Fifth, carry your notebook with you (e.g. in your purse) and/or leave it by the side of your bed. About once a week for the rest of the year review your goal list and see what comes up for you. Are you any closer to fulfilling your goals? Has anything shifted in your life? Have you received some intuitive nudges but ignored them? What happened healthordisease.com and how did you feel about that? And when you followed through with your intuition/inner guidance, what happened then? How did you feel? Did you express gratitude for any good things that happened? What have you learned? What are you grateful for? Do you see any new steps you need to take? Keep track in your notebook anything that you feel is important.

The larger goal here is to have your higher self (which is your connection to God, the “Universe,” All That Is) to guide you in fulfilling your goals. This process is important because how are you ever going to be happy and fulfilled if you constantly ignore your soul?

I hope you make use of this process so that you have the most amazing 2014 ever!
